Cold Hands

 Everyone knows you need cold hands to make great pastry...

Cold Hands is a three-minute film about love... yet it is not a love story. It communicates the disappointment, frustration and anger of a woman trapped in an unhappy marriage, distracting herself with recipes and domestic detail. Realised using a blend of frame-by-frame animation, pastels, pencils and graphite powder are used to capture the cosy but sad setting as each level of detail is revealed. Made during my first year at Royal College of Art. 

Cold Hands Equals Warm Heart - that’s what I say. Harold doesn’t agree.

Harold hates my cold hands... and my cold feet. He doesn’t care too much for my warm heart either.
