I suppose you could say
my family were into skiing.
A family is exposed to the elements when their fool-hardy father, driven by his passion for ski-ing, ignores the real threat of a snowstorm on a routine trip to the mountains.

Snowstorm is a short film about a family whose routine day-trip to the mountains is endangered by their fool-hardy father's passion for skiing.(*) Recklessly ignoring a snowstorm threat, the elements soon conspire against him and he is forced to seek shelter for them all by spending the night in a mountain lodge. Loosely based on the youngest and only daughters memory of the day, the film is an effective blend of fact-life experience and painted water-colour and drawn animation.
